Kimberly Ames, President: Brown Mackie College – Akron

Kimberly Ames joined Brown Mackie College – Akron in August 2010. She has 20 years of leadership experience in academic institutions. She most recently served as Campus Director with ITT in Strongsville, Ohio. Prior to her role with ITT, Kim served as Campus Director with National College in Stow, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. She has also served as an Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) evaluator for five years. Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban History from Ursuline College in Akron and a Masters of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Akron. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration at the University of Akron.
