You have come to this site with goals for a better tomorrow. As the president of Brown Mackie College - Akron, I understand that it is my staff and faculty’s role to provide the educational foundation needed to achieve this.
We understand that this is a life changing decision, and we also know that you may have every day obstacles that you need help with as you pursue your education. Our focus is to be right there for you every step of the way. From an assessment of your ambitions, talents and interests in our admissions office to finding the perfect program for you, to the hands on approach by our talented and caring faculty in the classrooms and clinical sites, we are here to support you.
Education is an interactive process where we do not hand skills to you but instead help you to understand and apply your knowledge in your chosen field. Our unique monthly delivery system allows students to focus on one class at a time each month.
We want college to be a fulfilling experience for you not only within the classroom but also with making new friends and having fun as you develop into a professional. You have the opportunity to make both professional contacts as well as lifelong friendships. On your part it means engaging fully, eyes and mind wide open. My passionate and caring staff and faculty will encourage and motivate you as we prepare you for your new career in your chosen field.
